| On December 27th, 2013, the Ministry of Environmental
Protection announced that, in order to implement “The
Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic
of China”, improve the working system in environmental
protection technologies, and promote technological
advancement in pollution prevention, the Ministry of
Environmental Protection sponsored the formulation of
three guiding technical documents including “Feasible
Technology Guidelines for Pollution Prevention and Control
in Wood Pulping Process of the Paper Industry (Trial)”,
“Feasible Technology Guidelines for Pollution Prevention
and Control in Non-Wood Pulping Process of the Paper
Industry (Trial)”, and “Feasible Technology Guidelines
for Pollution Prevention and Control in Waste Paper
Pulping Process of the Paper Industry (Trial)”. The three
technical documents were initiated and their formulation
was sponsored by Department of Science, Technology and
Standards of the Ministry of Environmental Protection. They
are all based upon the current development and application
status of various technologies and can be used as technical
references for pollution prevention and control in wood
pulping, non-wood pulping, waste paper pulping, and
papermaking processes, respectively. |
